    Ryan Leon
    Chief Financial Officer

Born and raised in the DC Metro area, Ryan graduated from Gallaudet in 2007 with a B.A. in Business Administration, with double minors in Finance and Economics. While he was attending college, he worked as a Deaf Interpreter and Supplemental Instructor specializing in Business classes. At the same time, Ryan also established his first business, a moving company, which he sold to establish Access. Ryan enjoys golfing, swimming, and spending time with his wife, Michelle and his four children, Rachel, Jordan, Lillian, and Connor. And of course, he can’t forget about his dog, Zuma.

    Lyle Vold
    Chief Executive Officer

Lyle grew up in University Park, Maryland and not surprisingly,  attended UMD and earned a BA in Finance. He started interpreting in 2000, and almost instantly began thinking about how the system of interpreting services could be improved. Starting an interpreting agency was a natural combination of his work experience and academic background. When Lyle is not working, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and beautiful German Shepherd, Chance. He can also be found in football or baseball stadiums cheering on his DC teams, the Redskins and Nationals. You may also spot Lyle wheeling around on a motorcycle!

      Managers
        Sherrette Estes
        Interpreter Manager

As a southerner, watermelon, relaxing, and sipping wine are all priorities for Sherrette, and she has done a lot of that with Access since she came on board in 2008. As the Interpreter Manager, she spends her days working alongside some of the best interpreters and future interpreters that DC has to offer. Lucky for her, she has managed to find Access, a company that has concocted the perfect blend of business and pleasure.

        George “Chip” Franzak
        Controller

George “Chip” Franzak Jr. joined AI in August of 2017 as Controller. Chip is a native Washingtonian, growing up in Beltsville, MD and is the youngest of 6 siblings. He graduated from Shepherd College (now University) with a B.S. in Business and obtained his CPA license in 1993. Chip and his wife, Beth, are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters and two attention-starved felines. When not at work Chip enjoys working in his yard and other “handyman” types of activities.

        Renee Garcia
        Human Resources Manager

Renee Garcia became the Human Resources Manager at AI in 2016. This position brings creativity, joy, fulfillment and a whole lot of unwanted gray hairs, which she covers up by overpaying her local hairstylist. Renee is married and a mother of two to Misty and Bosco, who enjoy going for walks, performing tricks for snacks, getting scratched behind the ears, and playing fetch at the park.

        Jeneé Richardson
        Scheduling Manager

A Texas girl at heart; born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, arguably the flattest place on Earth. In 2009, Jenée made the big move to DC to attend Gallaudet and completed her studies in 2013. Two years after graduation, she eventually found her way back to DC; this town has a hold on her heart. Outside of work, Jenée enjoys spending time with her Westie, cooking, reading, staying active all while sipping on the occasional glass of wine.
