Sign Language Interpreting Service

Our network of interpreters consists of experienced professionals who interpret between spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL) or other forms of signed communication used in the Deaf community.

We strive to ensure that interpreters who work with Access Interpreting are prepared and qualified for any assignment they take with us.  Meeting this goal relies on several things:

  • Getting accurate and adequate information from our requestors.
  • The interpreter's own professional judgement about which assignments to accept.
  • Our screening process, which allows us to get to know all interpreters who work with us.
  • Ensuring interpreters hold the appropriate certification or credentials required for particular assignments.

In conducting our business, we and the interpreters who work with us adhere to standard practices outlined by the industry’s certifying organizations, the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and the National Association of the Deaf. In addition to interpreting services for planned events, we also provide emergency interpreting services 24/7.
