Interpreter Information

We are building a model of agency operations that focuses on cutting costs and driving efficiency. These cost savings are funneled back to interpreters and the community in the form of interpreter benefits and community programs.

Our Philosophy

We strongly believe in interpreter choice. Interpreters don’t work for us; we work for you. It is our job to go out and find you work so that you don’t have to. Our job is to make your job easier, allowing you to focus on interpreting, rather than coordinating logistics.

Interpreter Programs

By providing benefits programs typical of staff positions, interpreters are allowed the flexibility of freelance with the security of staff.

We offer:

  • Health/Dental Insurance
  • 401k
  • Continuing Education

Working with Access

Currently we are working mainly on a referral basis because our assessment process is still in the works. Please contact us to discuss your background, qualifications, and to work together to identify interpreters who can refer you.

Interpreter Assessment

Generally, screenings are primarily used for the purposes of the organization administering the screening. We would like you to get something out of the process too.

We are currently developing an assessment that will not only help us match qualified interpreters to jobs, but will provide you with feedback that will aid in your skill development.

A.I.Ed. Continuing Education and Mentoring

As we grow, we intend to be a venue for workshops given by local professionals, as well as provide in-house opportunities for continuing education.
