Deaf Culture Seminars offer practical strategies to enable effective interactions between Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their hearing co-workers. We must emphasize that one cannot learn about any entire culture in one hour, one day, or even a week; Deaf Studies is an entire field of academia on an international scale. Nevertheless, it is worthwhile to have open discussions about what it means to be a Deaf or Hard of Hearing person in a hearing environment.
